Don't these clouds look like kissing squirrels?... Maybe it's just me LOL
I only took one picture of the inside of their house, because they just moved in and Lori isn't ready to have it on the blog yet, but take a look at their bar! All I can say is wow!!
The backyard is a different story and it's ready for it's blog debut ;)
They have at least five lemon trees!
Beautiful and almost ready to pick.... Oh! and a cute guy in their yard too..... ;)

Love that fountain......
and the pool too!
After we talked for a while at the house we went out to dinner and spent a wonderful time talking about ... well, everything ;)All too soon it was time to head back down the road.....
Three days in Arizona is just too darn short, so next year were going to take a few more days than we did this year so we can spend more time with our families.

Hi Rue!
I'm so glad you had such a wonderful Thanksgiving! It's so sweet to be with family on such a special holiday. Have a great weekend!!
Hugs, Sherry
The back yard is stunning.
Love the sepia pics. Nice touch! :)
I hate goodbyes. When I visit my sister in New Mexico, I hate to come home. Even if I have spent two weeks there, it's to short.
Glad you had a great time.
Ciao
So glad you and your family had such a great time together. I loved all the pix of your mom's house inside, and the beautiful yard. I know what you mean about saying good-bye...it's always a hard thing.
Oh DADR, G’byes are always so hard! Glad you are planning on a few extra days next year. That might help.
Now, which mountains are those? Don’t look like the White Tanks…FIL lived the winters by the Superstitions but can’t remember their shapes.
So glad you had a wonderful time, but it always feels good to get home to your own place too doesn’t it?
You’ve been missed Sweet DADR.
~Hugs~

Those kissing clouds were adorable..and the back yard debut..I can see myself spending many happy hours gathering lemons. Does a person gather or pick lemons? I know you had a great time and hated to say goodbye... thanks for swinging by the Silver Mania...hugs ~lynne~
Yeh,It all goes too fast!
Sounds like you had a good time though
sounds like you had a good time! what a beautiful place!
I want to know what your cute guy was doing in that backyard. Spying on the neighbors? :) What a lovely place to spend an afternoon.
Oh, I'm sorry you had to leave so soon, too. My mom lives in another state and I struggle with that when I have to leave too. {{{hugs}}}
What a good time...and yes that bar is amazing and I can just imagine the rest of the place.
Great images!
And oh certainly I clearly see 2 IN LOVE Christmas Squirrels :)
Those memories you made will be with you always...sorry you are hurting Rue...we never get to stay as long as hearts want....
It really sounds like you had a glorious adventure of family joy.
They DO look like squirrels kissing.... how sweet is that... your photos are making me miss Arizona... then I remember our 6 month 100 plus degree summers and I snap back into reality real quick... BUT it sure is gorgeous there

What a wonderful trip!! It was so nice to see some of your families too. How cool is it that Rich's mom lives that close to your mom!! I hope you memories of this trip sustain you until the next one.!
How interesting that your mom & Rich's parents both live in Arizona...Lovely family! ;-) Bo
Rue, what a nice vacation and I love that back yard! Nancy
The mountains are so beautiful and the landscape so different from the midwest. It all looks very exotic to me. Thanks for taking us along on your Thanksgiving trip.

What a wonderful trip! Kissing squirrels? Yes! I'm seeing it! Lol!
Pictures are a wonderful thing....not as good as being there, but they help. ~Beth~

I'm glad you got to make the trip. For some reason I thought that Rich's family all lived in Ohio. Loved the back yard. I'd love to have a grapefruit tree! I love it in the morning (but I'm lazy and usually have Corn Flakes) and usually have grapefruit juice in the fridge! LOL!
Hi Rue! very lovely landscapes, thanks for sharing them. I sorry you miss your family, it will be alright. Deb
Oh, I feel your hurt. I lived across the country from my parents for several years and seeing them just a couple of times a year was so hard... I'm glad you'll get to spend more time next year. Maybe they can visit you for Christmas? They'd probably all love to see some snow!!... Donna @ An Enchanted Cottage
Loved following your Thanksgiving blogs. Your goodbyes made me feel sad. I'm heading to Arizona today, we have a vacation home there. (Lake Havasu) You've inspired me to do an Arizona blog. Thanks for sharing your wonderful family with us all
Cheryl
Looks like you had a great time, vacations like that are always not as long as we wish.
Betty
PS Those pies were lovely and looked yummy!
Hi Rue,
Thanks for stopping by.
I didn't know about your love of antiques. I'm going to look at your older postings and see if you have some photos of them and your home. If not I would like to see them sometime.
Have a great weekend. ~Melissa :)

Now, I really want to go to Arizona too.... ( I need to win the Lottery)
Monica
Hi again, Just checked out all of your gorgeous antiques and home decor' photos. Your home is filled with much love, character and beauty. Wonderful job on it! Love the silver mirror.
I'm sorry about the
housing market slow down. I hope it all works out for you all soon. We're about to have to cross our fingers and do the same thing here VERY soon.
We have no choice in the matter. Alex gets orders in January and we will leave by May or so. Any advice for us? I need it...
Take Care, Melissa :)

Hello Rue, busy days so again I am on the computer late. I have been to Arizona but not to visit just driving through. I have family that love to winter there. Your photos are wonderful. Boy you had a wonderful vacation with family. It is always good to get back home.
Christmas hugs...Jeanne
Evening, Sweetie! Hope you've had a wonderful day and pray your weekend will be fantastic!
Be a sweetie,
shelia ;)
What a wonderful trip for your family. It's always great to be with the ones you love...
Rue, I'm so glad y'all got to go, and I'm sorry your time together was too short. It always seems that way with the ones you love. I lived away from my family my whole adult life, and I was the one who never even wanted to go to camp! lol!
XO,
Sheila
Hey Rue!
I know you miss them so much...the time goes by too fast... I know. Those Arizona views are so beautiful and so are Lori's gardens...what a sweet retreat!
