50 killed in series of attacks in Iraq

About 50 people lost their lives in a new series of attacks in Baghdad and in several cities in northern Iraq.

In the Iraqi capital Sunday were three bombings, the bloodiest attack of the day took place in the Centre of Bakouba, 65 km northeast of Baghdad, with the explosion of a booby-trapped vehicle next to a residential complex.

The Iraq currently lives the deadliest wave of violence of the past five years. According to an advanced balance by Agence France Press, which is based on numbers of medical services and Iraqi security forces, more than 3600 people died in violent incidents since the beginning of 2013.
