Poacher kills four people in southern Austria

The Austrian police about, since this morning, a farm in the South of the country to try to capture a poacher who killed at least four people.

The suspect had escaped the police control this morning, killing two policemen and the driver of an ambulance, having taken hostage a third police.

Authorities have found, this afternoon, the hostage dead inside the car, on Thursday where the attacker is still barricaded.

This is the eighth incident of its kind in Austria, with a poacher in the past two decades, at a time when the authorities have reinforced controls on illegal hunting in the country.
