Turkey: police Complex attacked with rockets and grenades

A police complex on the outskirts of Ankara, Turkey, was attacked Friday by ' rockets and grenades. One of the authors of the attack was killed by police and another was injured during the Chase, making their way out of town. Within the buildings, there is, for now, register of victims.

The attack occurred early evening at Dickmen. Two buildings, one where police command works and another where are the social services of the security force, were hit. According to Muammer Guler, Interior Minister of the Ankara Government, another ammunition was found in the garden of the complex, yet to explode.

For now there is no official confirmation about who is behind this attack, but the Turkish media admits the two gunmen belong to the Popular Liberation Front (DHKP-C), extreme left. It is recalled that the same group has claimed responsibility for the attacks against the building of the justice and Development Party (AKP), in March this year and in February last year, against the United States Embassy in Ankara.
