Obama "fura" locking in the USA: for 3 months or 3 years?

Hundreds of thousands of US administration officials returned to work yesterday after the Senate have put an end to 16 days of budget impasse. A lock that ends with the approval of a temporary agreement between Democrats and Republicans to increase the debt limit until day 7 February.

Barack Obama who rejected yesterday talking about "winners and losers", now reattach the understanding with the opposition after having resisted any concession on the reform of the health system, at the base of the iron arm the past two weeks.

But, according to analyst Michael Tanner of the Cato Institute, the consensus could be so temporary as the agreement approved Wednesday:

"I think the problems will return in January and not necessarily on the same topics. Even today, the President said that any future decision will have to include an increase in the budget. The Republicans won't accept raise taxes and will require spending cuts, the Democrats, for their part will say ' no ', let's get rid of the automatic budget cuts ("sequester"), let's raise taxes ".

And while economists try to count the cost of 16 days of blockade, especially to the growth of the American economy and in maintaining the AAA rating agencies, political analysts are wondering about Obama's ability to resume the dialogue on the expense of the State but also on the reform of the law on immigration.

Is whether the President's "victory" over the "locking" of the opposition will last only three months or if it will last for three years, the rest of the mandate of Obama.
