Fifteen Greenpeace activists freed in Russia

Amounts now to 15 the number of activists freed this week after paying bail.

The captain of the ship Artic Sunrise, Peter Willcox, the Dutch and the British Oulahsen Faïza Alexandra Harris are the happy contemplated after payment of bail set at 45,000 euros.

Since the beginning of hearings Monday in St. Petersburg, where the ship's activists were recently transferred from Murmansk, the Court decided to release only half of the group.

The 30 crew members of the Arctic Sunrise were arrested on September 19 when they tried to climb an oil rig in the Barents Sea to denounce the environmental risks.
