China and South Korea condemning visit of Japanese Prime Minister the controversial Temple

The ruler chose this Thursday, the day when a full year ahead of the Government. The temple enshrines million Japanese soldiers fallen during the armed conflicts between 1853 and 1945 and 14 notorious criminals of the second world war.

To the Beijing authorities, this visit by Shinzo Abe the Yasukuni is "unacceptable", inciting Japan to reflect on its past military aggression and claim that the country must "accept the consequences".

For South Korea, this visit is "a deplorable act", which is detrimental to diplomatic relations between the two countries. For many South Koreans the Yasukuni represents the occupation of the Korean peninsula, Japan, between 1910 and 1945.
