Russian President will pardon former oil Mikhail Khodorkovsky

One of Khodorkovsky's lawyers, Karina Moskalenko, said lack of information allowed confirm Putin's announcement. The release of the former owner of the Iukos oil company was scheduled for August next year. The oligarch, seen as a rival to Putin, was convicted of tax evasion and embezzlement.
