Brazil: Demonstrations to the rhythm of Carnival

This time a group decided to criticize the fact that Brazilian law not be clear and to be who takes advantage of that to convict the topless beaches.

The Brazilian Penal Code makes no mention of this issue, but speaks of jail time for "obscene behaviour" and there are those who see the topless in this way, Ana Paula Nogueira, one of the protesters, disagrees:

"I think it's a hypocrisy and will strengthen this movement on the beach, because it's a hypocrisy in the Carnival and not being able to do it on the beach, what's the difference?".

The Carnival is the great moment of revelry, in Brazil, and some people have tapped to celebrate the departure of the controversial Governor of Rio de Janeiro, accused of misuse of public money and political power. Sérgio Cabral has lost the confidence of his party and was forced to abandon the post. The case was handed over to justice but Cabral must apply for federal deputy.
