Ukraine: Protesters refuge in the Cathedral of s. Miguel

During the violent clashes recorded throughout the night, volunteer doctors and nurses took care of the wounded.

"There are many wounded with shrapnel of granada, Burns, and hit by bullets. We provide first aid and then hospitalizamos those who need ", said a doctor.

"I help with medical supplies. Bandages and medicines. I went three times to collect and bring material, "said a volunteer.

The Ukrainian Orthodox Church Kiev Patriarchate calls for peace. In November also hosted 30 injured during protests by students against the regime.

Priests of the Cathedral of s. Miguel persuaded 120 elements of riot police who patrolled the access from the Cathedral to the independence square leaving the scene, making access to the safest haven.
