Russia asks NATO explanations

Moscow did not like knowing that the strengthening of defensive capabilities in border regions to Russia is one of the options on the table.

The Russian Foreign Minister urges NATO to respect the bilateral agreements signed with Moscow. Commitments, according to Serguei Lavrov, do not include the strengthening military presence in Eastern Europe.

Lavrov defended the presence of Russian troops along the border with the Ukraine as a right. Ensures that the return to the bases soon, i.e. after concluded military exercises.
