Protesters attack Prime Minister's residence in Islamabad

The protests led by Imran Khan, a cricketer of repute before entering politics, and the cleric Tahir ul-Qadri, lasts a month ago and have been repressed by the forces of order.

At least three people were killed in clashes with police.

This Monday morning, despite heavy rain, a crowd attacked the police cordon and toppled the main gate of the building which houses the Government ministries, as well as the residence of the Prime Minister who was not in his quarters.

Two days ago, hundreds of protesters had already tried to invade the House of Nawaz Sharif but were repelled by police.

The head of Government must address the crisis in Parliament on Tuesday in an apparent effort to show that keeps track.
