Nigeria: Islamic sect uses hostages in skirmish line

The complaint comes in the report of the NGO Human Rights Watch, released this Monday.

The document brings together thirty testimonies of ex-reféns who share the moments suffered in captivity.

"I was home packing foods when we heard shots. We run, we tried to escape but they surrounded us and caught us. And they told me that now I had to convert to Islam. "

Boko Haram abducted more than 500 women and girls since 2009 according to the report.

"They divided us, Muslims to one side, and the four of us, Christians, to the other. They freed Muslims and held us ".

The document was released a day after the announcement that 30 teenagers, boys and girls, some only 11 years, have been abducted over the weekend in Borno.
