Doctor recovers and United States are free of Ebola cases

The October 23, Spencer was diagnosed with Ebola and quarantined for treatment at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York. Less than three weeks later got rid of the infection and quarantine. Even the Mayor of the Big Apple, Bill de Blasio, hugged him.

"My case represents only a fraction of the more than 13 thousand cases reported in West Africa, the focus of the outbreak," said the doctor already recovered, launching an appeal: "Please help me turn attention to West Africa and to ensure that the volunteer doctors and other health workers are not victims of stigma and threats when you return home."
