Mexico: relatives of missing students hold vigil

Family members require release of students allegedly held by dirty cops to 26 September.

"We have said on several occasions that we will not rest until we find our relatives. This year there is no Christmas for us because in every family lack an important person. So we can't wish Merry Christmas to each other because we feel a great sadness, tremendous pain, "says Felipe de la Cruz, a father of one of the missing students.

On 7 December, the authorities have identified the remains of one of the students who integrated the group.

Many families believe that most students are still alive despite other evidence suggest that the Group would have been dead and the remains incinerated by a group of criminals linked to drug trafficking.
