British Crown back to recant accusations against Prince Andrew

The new statement from Buckingham Palace, published this Sunday, comes at a time when the British press evokes the existence of video records of private orgies arranged by banker Jeffrey Epstein, a personal friend of the Duke of York, at the root of the scandal.

A woman who accuses Epstein of having used as sex slave claims to have been abused at the age of 17 years by various personalities, including Prince Andrew for several private parties.

Epstein had been sentenced to a year and a half in prison in 2008 for prostitution of minors, a feather too light to three of the victims who require the reopening of proceedings in the United States.

The crime of sexual abuse of minors is liable to a penalty of up to 15 years in prison, in the light of the applicable law of the State of Florida.

The woman, whose identity is protected by American law, claims that it would have been forced to have sex with the Prince Andrew during at least three occasions between 1999 and 2002.
