Germany: New Pegida leader resigns

Kathrin Oertel's resignation follows the of Lutz Bachmann, who left the post after it has been published a photograph of Hitler and masked his alleged statements of incitement to hatred.

Kathrin Oertel says abandons the place because of threats, harassment and disadvantages pros. Oertel also stated that "even the strongest woman has to leave when photographers and other weirdoes are back in your home".

The Pegida group, originally from Dresden, collected numerous supporters who are against the current immigration policy and we do not see with good eyes the growing presence of Muslims.

Anti-immigration manifestations have aroused the public opposition of other citizens and also of the main political leaders, notably German Chancellor Angela Merkel and President Joachim Gauck.
