Hollande: "no more obstacles" for connecting TGV Lyon-Turin
After a meeting at the Elysee Palace, the French President and Italian Prime Minister indicated that the European Commission will receive on Thursday the request for funding of 40 percent of the work, three thousand million euros for the period 2014-2020.Hollande said that "it is possible to say now that the Lyon-Turin link is posted. It will take some time to be built, but there is no longer any obstacle to the realization of this work ".First announced in 1991, the project is strongly opposed by environmental associations and opposition parties and groups.
