Pakistan: 19 killed in attack on Shiite mosque

The temple is frequented by Shiite minority. The attack took place by the local 1:0 pm, 8 in Lisbon.

A group of three armed men entered the mosque, threw grenades and fired indiscriminately, on people.

Two of the bombers were exploding at the scene the one wounded by security forces, and eventually die.

The bombing was claimed by the Pakistani Taliban group, the Tehrik-e-Taliban, in retaliation for the execution of a militant, to December 19, for having participated in an attack on an army barracks, in 2009.

The injured were transported to hospitals in the region, many of them are in serious condition.
