Ukraine: appeals to unheard dialogue

The Ukrainian President, Petro Poroshenko, has no doubt that the United States and other partners will send weapons to the Ukraine, so that the country can defend. The statements were uttered by Poroshenko on a visit to soldiers in Eastern Ukraine.

If the United States balance the delivery of arms to Kiev, the Germany and France already have ruled out this hypothesis, not to feed the conflict.

Violence has intensified in recent days. Chancellor Angela Merkel acknowledged that the "situation has become more serious, no doubt. But, said "diplomatic efforts must continue."

In ten months of conflict in Ukraine have died more than 5300 people.

The Vatican reiterated once again the call for dialogue. Faced with 7 thousand faithful, in the public hearing in weekly Holy See, the Pope Francisco declared: "I renew the call for every effort to be made, including the international level, to resume dialogue, the only way possible to restore peace and harmony in this long-suffering land".

With the degradation of the situation on the ground, European diplomacy has requested an immediate truce and of at least three days to evacuate civilians in Debaltseve area.
