Kenya boosts security in border region

Kenya has stepped up security in the border region with Somalia after the attack on Thursday to the University of Garissa who made hundreds and half dead. The Somali Al-Shabaab rebels with links to Al-Qaida, are at the origin of the attack and promising to continue the fight. Mandera, in the North of the country, bordering Somalia and Ethiopia.

"We have information that Mandera is on the list of targets of terrorists, during the Easter period, so we applied various measures to make sure that our city is safe" â€" explains a military man.
