USA: Rahm Emanuel re-elected Mayor of Chicago

The Mayor, of 55 years, managed to overcome the main opponent, Jesus Garcia, getting 56 percent of the vote.

This is the second term of Rahm Emanuel, in front of the municipality.

"Being Mayor of the city of Chicago is the best job I ever had and it's the best job in the world. I feel humble with the opportunity to continue to serve the best city, with the best people, over the next four years, "says the Mayor.
