Cairo: explosion at the Italian Consulate makes at least 1 dead and two wounded
The building was closed at 6:30 a.m. this Saturday, but the explosion have caused 1 dead and at least two wounded. According to local journalists in the facade was partially destroyed. So far no group came to claim the attack.The explosion happened days after another that killed the country's most prominent prosecutor, Hisham Barakat. This event also follows another explosion, of lesser intensity, in the Consulate of Saudi Arabia, last month.
