Greece: Europe awaits outcome of referendum

"There will be no negotiations in the next few days. It is at the level of the Eurogroup or between the Greek authorities and institutions. Let's wait for the outcome of the referendum on Sunday, "said Jeroen Dijsselbloem.

French President Francois Hollande says that it is the duty of the other eurozone countries and Greece, keeping the country on the single currency and that it is not time of intransigence, but of dialogue.

"It is our duty to make Greece remains in the Euro zone, because as a European I don't want the break-up of the Eurozone," said Hollande.

Merkel reiterated that negotiations can only be resumed after the referendum. Matteo Renzi declared himself confident of an agreement, but insisted that Athens must admit needs reform.
