Kiev has new police force

"The starting salary starts from 8 thousand grívnias. It's not a million, but it is something with which they can live and support a family. We hope that there will be very few cases of corruption, but they exist, there are always, in one way or another. But this was something that we needed. Corruption is a crime. It's simple, you need to stop it, "says Ekaterine Zguladze, Vice-Minister of the Interior, on the measure that it had already applied, successfully, in their country of origin, Georgia:

"At a Georgia police increased 15 times during the reforms. I hope that in Ukraine the same, today, this measure is very important to change the situation in the country, for the people and the police are friends and work together ", said one of the new cops, Oleksiy Ziber.
