President of Burundi conquest third term, opposition denounces election

Nkurunziza launched the country into a serious crisis by announcing his candidacy in April. Opponents claim that this third term is unconstitutional but the Chief of State considers that it is valid because it is only the second obtained by universal suffrage. The crisis of recent months has made more than 80 dead and led to the escape of the country of more than 160 million people.
