Tunisia: suspects in wave of attacks would have been trained in Libya

At least 8 people with direct links to the attack ", according to the Government, are currently detained. The suspects, who were not publicly identified, were allegedly trained in a jihadist camp in neighbouring Libya, as the author of the attack of 23 years.

The Minister for civil society issues, Kamel Jendoubi, said, "the security forces were able to identify and neutralize a network that was behind this operation."

Tunisian investigators, the suspects belong to the same network responsible for the earlier attempt on the Bardo Museum in the Tunisian capital. An action also claimed by the Islamic State.
