FIFA suspends Jérôme Valcke, right-hand man of Sepp Blatter

Jérôme Valcke, right arm of Sepp Blatter and FIFA General Secretary was suspended by the Organization itself, "of all the functions with immediate effect and until more news."

Without great detail, the world football body speaks of "a number of complaints" about "conduct unbecoming" of the Secretary-General and said to have prompted an official investigation by the Ethics Committee "of the organization.

Concerned, apparently, an inflated sale of tickets for the 2014 World Cup, which the French have denied.

FIFA is wrapped in a huge corruption scandal that led Joseph Blatter to resign as President, after being re-elected.

Seven leaders were arrested. Are part of a list of 14 accused, by the United States, acts of corruption connected to the television and marketing.

Jérôme Valcke, President's right-hand man, was not implicated in the corruption scandal.
