Game of Thrones is "King" and the Emmy record

With so many awards in one night, set a record.

The series about bloodthirsty medieval kingdoms and nobles with dragons and other magical creatures won thousands of fans at all, but only now is in fact enshrined in Emmy.

The night was also marked by the first African-American woman to receive the award for best actress. Viola Davis won the statuette for representing a defense attorney in the series "how to defend a killer".

Davis said that the only thing that separates a woman of color to anyone else are the opportunities.

And the sixteenth was once. Jon Hamm won the award for best actor in a drama series, after 16 nominations, eight in this category.
