Hundreds of refugees arrive in Munich from Budapest

The Austria has reinforced border controls Monday, days after the discovery of dozens of bodies of refugees abandoned along a highway in the country.

Since this morning the traffic circulates with difficulty, with traffic jams of more than 25 km away, at the point of passage between Hungary and Austria.

The Austrian authorities claim to have achieved intercetar 200 refugees, having arrested 5 drug dealers during the checks.

Vienna denies disrespecting the Schengen free-movement, justifying the checks with the investigation to discover the corpses of refugees.

According to the Austrian Interior Minister, Johanna Mikl-Leitner,

"We have seen the human traffickers who are increasingly brutal and unscrupulous and we must fight against this situation with stern measures."

Vienna allowed however the passage of at least three convoys of refugees from Budapest, one of which arrived in the evening to Munich, Germany.

The Hungarian authorities had allowed hundreds to embark in the compositions, after protests from refugee camps on Sunday.
