Nepal adopts a democratic Constitution and secular

Despite protests to declare that a hindu State, the Constitution defines the Nepal as a secular State.

The Nepalese Constitution is the first in Asia to protect specifically the rights of communities, lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender people.

Critics say the Constitution discriminates against women in terms of transmission of citizenship.
