Guinea Conakry: Condé wants election to first back

The current head of State, Alpha Condé, bet on the first round election, but the opposition has already vowed to challenge the results.

Five years ago, Condé, a former opponent to the dictatorship, became the first democratically elected President in the country, by winning in the second round former Prime Minister Cellou Dalein Diallo.

This year, Diallo back running. The opposition says that the goal of Condé being elected the first round can only happen through fraud and denounced illegal practices as the smaller inscription on the electoral roll.

The mandate of Condé was marked by the deadly outbreak of Ebola. The country was the most touched by the disaster. The opposition accuses Condé of mismanagement of the crisis. The President is at odds with the finish of the Kaléta or the justice reforms and the army.
