Pope Francis asks for "forgiveness for scandals that have reached the Vatican"
The Holy See did not pay further clarification by stating that if the Pope "wanted to be more specific, you know very well how to do it".The application of "forgiveness" was done before thousands of people gathered in St. Peter's square.Francis added that "it is inevitable that the scandals happen, more woe to the man who causes such scandals".The Pope's teaching was devoted to the importance of children, which led the press to infer that Francis asked for forgiveness for the paedophile scandals that have hit the Catholic Church.In recent weeks, the Vatican announced the death of a priest who would be tried for sexual abuse of minors and another priest admitted publicly to be homosexual.
