Turkey: Erdogan calls for support of the opposition to change Constitution

Erdogan leaves a warning to those who do not intend to constitutional changes.

"I hope you all feel to the table to work on this. Who resist the will of the people, we have a new Constitution, anyone who tries to prevent, will suffer the consequences in the upcoming elections, in four years, "he said.

Since his election to the Presidency of the Republic in August 2014, Erdogan, advocates reform of the Constitution and the transfer of executive power to the Prime Minister to the head of State.

Opponents fear that it means putting too much power in the hands of a leader already considered quite authoritative.

In Ankara, the President also promised to carry out the raids and operations against alleged conspirators, a reference to journalists and, also, the police officers and Governors, allegedly connected to Fethullah Gulen, the rival cleric of Erdogan
