Arab League condemns attack on Saudi diplomatic facilities in Iran

The Secretary General of the Arab League, Nabil Elaraby, was clear: "Iran cannot accept responsibility for this attack, due to the violation of international law and of the Geneva Conventions concerning the protection of diplomatic premises."

The Arab countries also warned Iran that it would face greater opposition if it continued to interfere in its internal affairs. Despite the unity now presented there are doubters to remain for a long time. "I can't believe this crisis could lead to the total cutting relations with some Arab countries because there are differences and variations in political positions of Arab States on how to deal with Iran's intervention in its internal affairs," says political analyst Alsayed Makhlof.
