Mexico: at least 52 people were killed in a riot in a prison
The Governor of the State of Nuevo Leon confirmed then the deaths of 52 people and 12 were injured. Jaime Rodriguez revealed the clashes were triggered by one of the prison gang led by a member of the known and violent Mexican cartel "Los Zetas" drug. The inmates occupied one of the pavilions of the prison, caused a fire and tried to flee. According to local officials, some of the prisoners managed to even escaping from prison. The communication Office of the Mexican Government has already announced. via Twitter, that the situation is under control from the 1:30 in the morning local time (6:30 in Mainland Portugal).
