Argentinean women require compensation for the defective French breast implants

About 300 women argentinas, hobbled by faulty breast implants, initiated a collective process to require 41 million euros in compensation.

Some of the complaining is part of the 7400 group women who has a complaint similar to be judged in France and whose verdict will be announced in December.

In the dock are the French company that produced defective implants, the German certification agency TUV and the German insurer Allianz.

The lawyer of the complainant in Argentina, herself a victim of faulty implants, explains that the complaint "starts with 300 women" but that "we are in the presence of a class action lawsuit for all Argentinean women, who were or are victims of PIP's implants, can be compensated for the harm they have suffered."

Trial in France, the President of PIP, Jean-Claude But admitted in court have filled the implants with a homemade recipe, uncertified, industrial silicone.

The value of compensation required in argentina could be multiplied several times, if all of the more than 15 thousand women who have implants removed join the complaint.
