China: Prosecution asks for severe punishment for Bo Xilai

The prosecution asked for severe punishment for Bo Xilai. On the last day of the trial of former top leader of the Chinese Communist Party, prosecutors complained an exemplary sentence. The former leader of the metropolitan area of Chongqing, in Southwest China, is accused of corruption, mismanagement of funds and abuse of power. The defendant refutes the accusations though I do admit taking wrong decisions. The trial began five days and takes place in the city of Jinan in the East of the country.

"I think it is a fair trial for Bo Xilai" â€" says a resident of Jinan.

"Bo Xilai is one of the Princes. He is the son of a former high dignitary. Was supposed to come to assume a central role in the direction of the country, in the next generation. If I hadn't made those mistakes would occupy a place in the Political Bureau of the Central Committee. It's a great shame "-exclaims an inhabitant of the city.

Bo Xilai fell into disgrace after woman, Gu Kailai, have murdered a British entrepreneur, Neil Heywood, and your man, Wang Lijun, former police Chief of Chongqing, have helped cover up the murder.
