Four rockets fired from Lebanon against Israel

Four rockets were fired from southern Lebanon against Northern Israel, on Thursday. The Tel Aviv Government says that Al-Qaeda is at the origin of the shots.

Israeli military sources, quoted by Reuters, claim that one of the shells was intercetado by the "Iron Dome" defense system to Israel, another crashed into the sea and the other two between the two coastal towns of Acre and Nahariya.

The Israeli authorities announced that there are no victims to register and the damage was not significant.

The Beirut Government has condemned the firing of rockets, dismissed any responsibilities of the Act and promised a serious investigation in order to bring to justice the perpetrators.

Southern Lebanon is one of the bastions of Hezbollah which, in 2006, started a war against Israel.
