Russian police confiscates painting of Putin and Medvedev in lingerie

The Russian police seized a picture in which President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev are both clothed only with underwear. The work entitled "Travesty" was exhibited at the "Museum of power" in St Petersburg and was taken away by police on Monday night, with the argument that "violates the legislation", having been classified as extremist propaganda.

Three other works were seized: a frame with the leader of the Russian Orthodox Church with the back full of tattoos and two others that depict, Vitaly Milonov, one of the mentors of the legislation against the alleged gay propaganda in Russia.
