Egypt: Mohammed Ibrahim escapes unscathed from bombing

The Egyptian Interior Minister, Mohammed Ibrahim, survived this Thursday an attack with an explosive device when it moved from home to his Office in downtown Cairo.Initially, the State media have advanced information that they would have treated the explosion of a car bomb. However according to security sources, quoted by EFE, the explosive device was thrown from a building."Thank God I survived. Was a villainous attack. Research services say that a large amount of explosives was detonated from a distance, "said the Minister. Ibrahim has been harshly criticized by supporters of the deposed President Mohamed Morsi because of the violence used by police in August to disperse the demonstrations of support for Morsi and campaign of repression against the Muslim Brotherhood.
