Syria: Obama "burning the last cartridges" to convince America

The White House has spared no effort to convince the American congressmen to support the military intervention in Syria and John Kerry, the head of American diplomacy, has spared no steps to convince overseas.

After Paris, where he met the leaders of the Arab League, Kerry is this Monday in London to meet with William Hage, on the same day in Washington begins a lengthy debate in Congress.

Despite the efforts, Obama has difficulty securing support, particularly in the Republican field that dominates the House of representatives, as the statements illustrate Congresswoman, Loretta Sanchez:

"At a time when one of our missiles landing wartime of Syria. Is a civil war and we are on the side of the rebels, many of them al qaida Asssociates and other groups that threaten us. For the President is a quick out, but that's how long wars begin. "

The Bills made by the American press give a slight edge to those who reject the intervention, but there are still many undecided congressmen and the three-day debate should contribute to set the positions.

Aware of the difficulties in convincing both congressmen, whether public opinion, Obama writes this Monday an interview to be broadcast on all major American television channels and, on Tuesday night, makes a communication to the country from the White House.
