Banksy sells original works for 60 bucks on the street

More a protest against the art market, a compliment to the anonymity or a study on the relative value of a work and his message?

No one knows for sure, as it is also known the true identity of Banksy. The British artist-currently one of the great names of "Streetart", or "street art"-decided to install, last Saturday, a dealer with original works and signed in the Central Park of New York, sold at $ 60 each. The first sale was only achieved with a discount of 50 percent and most of the paintings found no buyer.

Banksy installed for a month on American metropolis, unveiling every day a work or original installation, within the framework of the initiative "Better Out Than In", in Portuguese "better out than in".



The owner of the building in Queens where one of the last "graffiti" artist says "I'd like to meet him, to congratulate him".

For the lucky few who bought one of the screens of Banksy, is information that one of his last works up for auction â€" over the heads of the artist, who opposes the sale of his work â€" yielded a million euros.
