USA ponder intelligence operations

The recent revelations about wiretapping u.s. allied countries â€" a result of revelations of Edward Snowden-led European leaders to demand a new agreement on the collection of information with the goal of preserving good relations with the United States and maintain the fight against terrorism.

Claude Moraes, Member of the European Parliament says:

In a more complete and detailed response to the charges of espionage, the White House indicated that the fact that the Government rely on technical knowledge to perform certain missions of espionage, doesn't mean they should be made.

Carney's speech, spokesman for the White House makes it clear, however, whether the Government will restrict some espionage operations.

Carney noted that the American eavesdropping should concentrate mainly on threats to Americans, implying a recognition by Government that listening to the espionage activities of the United States crossed the line.
