Yemen blames Al-Qaeda for the murder of a German and the abduction of a UNICEF employee

In Yemen, the security of the Embassy of Germany was, on Sunday, killed, in an attack with the signature of Al-Qaida that authorities assume had intended to kidnap the German Ambassador. In another incident near the capital, San'a, a UNICEF employee was kidnapped.In the diplomatic quarter of Sana, a witness claims that "three strangers entered the Mall and followed" the German security "during 10 minutes. When this came out of the building, the three men "shot at Mall Security who sought refuge inside", leaving the German citizen at the mercy of the attackers were hit "in my chest and head" before "flee".The authorities suspect that the attack had intended to kidnap the German Ambassador was not in the country. The Yemeni government accuses Al-Qaeda of the attack which cost the life to the German security and also the kidnapping, on the outskirts of the capital of a citizen of Sierra Leone who works for UNICEF.
