"Multi": the new viral "escape", in song, the boss of Wikileaks

Even detained for several months in Ecuador's Embassy in London, the most famous of the "Whistleblowers" is the co-author of the song "Multi-Viral", launched today on the internet.

A "hymn" to combat the "master of the leaks," chanted the Group of Puerto Rico, "Calle 13", and with the collaboration of guitarist of Rage Against The Machine ", Tom Morello.

"Multi" Viral, which also features the voice of Arab-Israeli singer Kamilya Jubran, was drafted in collaboration with thousands of netizens, inspired in the comments published on social networks under the "hashtag" #JulianAssangeCalle13 relating to the theme of social justice.

The result, released today, is a song of intervention against the manipulation of the media and in defence of "free information", but also in support of the motions of social revolt as the "outraged" or the "movement occupies Wall Street".



The lead singer of the group "Calle 23", Rene Perez, had met with Assange in London recently to prepare for the new song, an event broadcast live via social networks.



The "whistleblower" Australian is currently living in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, after having requested asylum in the country a year ago to avoid extradition to Sweden.

Interviewed by Spanish site "El Diario.es", Rene Perez CITES Assange as an example, "against all this manipulation and how a handful of people control all the media in many countries and as various Governments control also the means.
