Wiretapping Scandal: United Kingdom Germany spy in the heart of Berlin

According to aerial photographs and documents transmitted by Edward Snowden, the former NSA, the English newspaper The Independent suggests that the British Embassy in Berlin, offers, on the roof, a system of espionage-situated a few meters from the Office of Angela Merkel at the Chancellery, and the German Parliament.

According to the newspaper, the listening station is similar to that of the United States held on the roof of the Embassy, which was apparently terminated, after the revelations about u.s. wiretapping the phone of the Chancellor.

Still according to the same source, the German authorities did not protest yet against the equipment used by the United Kingdom.

London refuses to make any comment related to intelligence matters.

On Saturday, the time of the Guardian newspaper revealed that the secret services of Western European countries work together in a vast program of surveillance of the internet and telecommunications, comparable in size to the American National Security Agency.
