Ukraine: EU concerned with Yanukovych trip to Moscow

Ukrainian President goes to Moscow on Tuesday to talk with Putin. The European Union looks with apprehension the journey of Viktor Yanukovych.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, country that ensures the rotating Presidency of the European Union, recognizes that Brussels just know generally the themes that will be discussed between Putin and Yanukovych and who liked to "learn more about the content" of the talks. The Ukrainian authorities guaranteed the Linas Linkevicius that the meeting "is not in contradiction with the possible process of association with the EU", something which the European representative "believe it's true".

On the verge of bankruptcy, the Ukraine wants 20 billion dollars to sign the association agreement with the EU.
