End of the strike at Frankfurt airport

The third airport in Europe was, this Friday, the target of a strike of private security agents. Of a thousand and 300 flights scheduled, about 100 were canceled.

Passengers in transit who do not need to pass through security, have had no problems. For others, it was worse.

"I would return to Helsinki and I just know that safety is closed; completely closed, "complains a passenger Finnish.

Another passenger, a Briton, explains: "now let's try to retrieve their luggage. You don't seem to have a procedure for this. And I imagine there are a lot of people trying to get their luggage because you cannot travel. It's absolute chaos. It's not very worthy ... it's not very German! "

The workers are demanding a salary increase to 16 euros per hour. According to the German Trade Union Verdi, security workers, which control the baggage and travellers before the entry on planes, currently receive between 10 and 13 euros per hour.
