Lebanon with Government of "national unity"

The new "national unity" is led by Tammam Salam and has 24 Ministers, eight of whom come from Hezbollah and its allies.

The movement secured the important folders of finance and of Foreign Affairs.

The Prime Minister hopes to achieve the goals of presidential elections before May and after legislation. For that to happen, extended "the hand to all political factions" and asked that "all work in favour of the country".

Tammam Salam was appointed Prime Minister in April 2013, but had failed so far, find consensus due to internal divisions in the country, aggravated by the civil war in neighboring Syria.

One of the main focuses of discussion was related to who would occupy the Ministry of energy.

The civil war, Syria has provoked divisions within Lebanon, watching the scale of violence. The Shiite movement Hezbollah is declared supporter of the regime of Bashar al-Assad.
